For UW-Madison students and alumni interested in exploring options to conduct independent research, study, teach English, practice art, and more abroad, the Fulbright US Student Program (FUSP) is one of the most prestigious and accessible ways to build on your UW-Madison experience and pursue new opportunities overseas!
As part of International Education Week 2023, the UW-Madison Fulbright Coordinator will be hosting an online Fulbright US Student Program information session on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 4pm CST.Register and sign-up for reminders at https://go.wisc.edu/FUSPInfoSession
At this Fulbright-led session, UW-Madison students & alumni will learn about all the opportunities available to pursue graduate or professional study, conduct research, practice their creative & performing arts, and teach English abroad through the Fulbright US Student Program. During the session, you will find out about the full range of Fulbright awards, what the application involves, and next steps in preparing yourself for the coming competition. Following a program overview from Fulbright – including a conversation with Fulbright program alumni – attendees will enter a breakout room with UW-Madison’s Fulbright Coordinator (Mark Lilleleht, uwfulbright@wisc.edu) to learn more about applying through the UW-Madison and the resources & support we offer.
If you can’t make the session, we are happy to answer questions by email, or if you’d prefer an individual meeting to discuss specific interests or questions, please book an appointment through Starfish or Calendly.
