Fulbright Scholar Program 2020-2021 competition now open!

The Fulbright Scholar Program competition for the 2020-2021 award cycle opened on February 4, 2019!

The Core Fulbright Scholar Program (which is just one of the programs available) offers more than 500 teaching, research or combination teaching/research awards in over 125 countries.

On Wednesday, February 6, 1-2pm CST, IIE/CIES will be hosting a webinar highlighting what’s new for the 2020-2021 competition. Information and a link to register is available @ https://www.cies.org/event/2019-2020-fulbright-us-scholar-program-preview.

More complete information on the Fulbright Scholar Program is @ https://www.cies.org/ while you can search and explore the full, updated awards catalog @ https://awards.cies.org/.

And while there’s no campus component to the competition – interested faculty and staff apply directly to CIES – Mark Lilleleht of the IRIS Awards Office is happy to answer any questions you might have about the program and current award cycle and more than happy to work with faculty putting together applications or just exploring the possibilities.
