Interested In Exploring Opportunities Abroad? Consider the Fullbright U.S. Student Program through UW-Madison…!

For undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni interested in exploring options abroad in the years ahead – to conduct independent research, study, teach English, practice art, and more – look into the Fulbright US Student Program (FUSP) through the UW-Madison, one of the most prestigious and accessible ways to build on your UW-Madison experience and pursue new opportunities overseas. The 2025-2026 application opens on April 2, 2024 and we are hosting a Fulbright-led online information session the next day:

During this session, you will learn about the different types of Fulbright US Student Program awards, application components, tips, and what’s new for the upcoming application cycle. You’ll also have the opportunity to get your questions about the program answered and learn more about applying through the UW-Madison and the resources & support we offer.
We are also excited to be partnering once again with the UW-Madison’s Writing Center on a Fulbright US Student Program workshop:
Writing Your Way to a Fulbright: The Application Essays

Register at https://go.wisc.edu/FUSP-essays
In this workshop, you’ll learn about and explore the essay requirements, analyze successful samples from past applicants, and have a chance to ask questions and explore more about the writing and application process. This workshop is useful for people in any stage of the FUSP application process: from those considering whether to apply to those already working on their drafts.
If you can’t make the above, we are planning additional info sessions for later in April and through the summer, are always happy to answer questions by email, or if you’d prefer an individual meeting to discuss specific interests or questions, you can schedule an appointment through Starfish.
