On July 14 from 10-11 AM Central Time, Megan Schliesman and Madeline Tyner from the University of Wisconsin’s Cooperative Children’s Book Center will talk with K-5 teachers about recently published children’s books with a focus on the theme of migration. The first 40 participating Wisconsin teachers who RSVP to outreach@iris.wisc.edu with their name and the grade level they teach will receive two of the featured books to add to their classroom library. This event is sponsored by the Institute for Regional and International Studies, Middle East Studies Program, and Latin American, Caribbean, and Iberian Studies Program.
