Biography:
Sarah Linkert (she/her/hers) is the Assistant Director for Awards at the Institute for Regional and International Studies. Prior to joining IRIS, she worked as the Assistant Director of UW-Madison’s Center for Russia, East Europe, and Central Asia (CREECA), where she also served as the Central Eurasian Studies Summer Institute (CESSI) program coordinator, CREECA Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship coordinator, and CREECA outreach coordinator. Sarah is passionate about international education, language learning, and educational access. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, local concerts, and being outside.
