Campus deadline for 2019-2020 Luce Scholars Program is October 15, 2018

Applications are now being accepted for the 2019-2020 Luce Scholars Program! Offering a year-long internship in Asia, the Luce Scholars Program (LSP) is designed to provide an extended period of exposure to an Asian country for highly qualified young US citizens & permanent residents who lack extensive engagement with Asian affairs and who would not gain this knowledge through their normal career trajectories.

Please note: For the purposes of LSP eligibility, “extensive engagement” means more than 18 weeks (total) in LSP countries (post-high school) or an Asian studies-related major. Students who have Asian studies-related minors, certificates, or coursework, shorter stays in LSP countries, and/or relevant language study (even multi-year study) ARE eligible to apply.

Seniors & graduate students who will graduating by May 2019 as well as alumni are eligible but must apply through the UW-Madison. The campus deadline for this current cycle is 4pm on October 15, 2018.
